Customer Service Representative (Multiple position)

Johnston Rhode Island 02919 - Onsite role

5+ month contract with high potential for extension and can convert to permanent.

Pay range: $18/hr to $20/hr

Must-Have Requirements:

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join our team and act as advocates for customers and applicants. In this role, you will ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered by addressing inquiries, offering solutions, and fostering strong relationships with both customers and merchant partners. You will work in an environment where time management, attention to detail, and adherence to policies are key, with regular coaching and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a customer advocate by explaining and offering appropriate support solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Identify and respond to customer inquiries by actively listening to determine their needs and provide accurate information related to credit decisions.

  • Track all customer interactions accurately, including expressions of dissatisfaction, in the system of record.

  • Ensure daily tasks and follow-up actions are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.

  • Adhere to all call quality and operational standards.

  • Perform any additional duties as required to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of world-class customer service experience.

  • Skills:

  • Strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong listening, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.

  • Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Ability to receive regular coaching, both during training and on the job.

  • Strong time management skills with strict adherence to breaks, lunches, and start times.

  • Strict adherence to company cell phone policy (cell phones only permitted during breaks/lunches).

  • Willingness to be on camera for independent and group learning sessions.
