Conemaugh Physician Group is seeking a full-time LPN for the Conemaugh OBGYN Associates. The LPN is responsible for providing nursing care to meet the needs of the patients, assisting medical staff and providing quality care to the patients.Provides direct patient care ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.

Essential Responsibilities:
**Assists medical staff in carrying out plans for care of patients.
Assists with speculum exams and cultures, cytological sampling; colposcopies/LEEP, IUIs, minor surgical procedures, other invasive office procedures.
Gives IMs, sub q, and oral medications as ordered.
Performs catheterizations and other clinical procedures within the scope of practice.
Prepares daily charts.
Coordinates and orients new nursing personnel in regard to office set-up,requirements, associated activities and procedures.
Coordinates patient care activities with the hospital.
Handles patient telephone inquiries.
Transcribes lab and other medical data to charts.
Competently documents visits and notes in EPIC.
Performs on-site laboratory tests.
Completes inventory and orders medical supplies
Travels to other offices, as needed.
Maintains laboratory quality controls.
Participates in office Quality Improvement initiatives.
Job Qualifications: * *Education:
Graduate of a state program for licensed practical nurses required.
Experience:
One year experience working in a clinical setting required.
One year clinical out-patient office experience, preferably in an OB/GYN setting preferred.
Electronic medical record experience either in acute care setting or medical office practice preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration:
Current valid Pennsylvania nursing license required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow Hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Ability to be courteous and cooperative in working relationships with staff, patients and visitors.
