Position Specific Description
This position can be remote with preference in Salt Lake, San Diego, or San Francisco
As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, maintenance, and performance optimization of a portfolio of residential solar energy systems. You will manage field technicians and inquires from the field as well as post installation QA/QC, coordinate service schedules, and implement strategies to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and longevity of our clients' solar investments. Your leadership and expertise in solar energy systems will be instrumental in maximizing the performance and profitability of our residential solar fleet.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
• Lead field technicians responsible for servicing residential solar assets.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the fleet management team.
Operations and Maintenance:
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize the performance and reliability of residential solar systems.
• Coordinate with technicians to conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to service calls, system alarms, and customer inquiries to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management and procurement of spare parts and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize the performance and reliability of residential solar systems
Coordinate with technicians to conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance tasks
Respond promptly to service calls, system alarms, and customer inquiries to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction
Oversee inventory management and procurement of spare parts and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs
Identifies and delivers innovative solutions to meet dynamic business needs for the company
Provides weekly reporting to management on several key metrics and KPIs
Develop strategies to maximize energy production and system efficiency
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 5+ years
