Big Island Energy Company, LLC offers an outstanding opportunity in Kailua-Kona, HI. We are seeking a full-time Facility Administrator to join our Big Island Energy Company - Kailua, Kona team. Position Summary The Facility Administrator will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer servicing experience including processing fuel and lubricants orders, assisting with dispenser turn-ons, fulfilling customer orders, shipping and receiving products to the warehouse facility, monitoring inventory levels, accepting and processing customer payments, assisting with pump troubleshooting, creating customer accounts and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Education and Experience Ideal candidates will have 2 years of customer service experience is preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification and valid class 3 drivers license is required. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook and prior data base use is preferred. Applicants must possess excellent communication, customer service, problem solving, and basic math skills. Must be able to multi-task, willing to learn new tasks and petroleum nomenclature and products, detail oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment. Previous experience handling petroleum or similar products is preferred but not required.
Compensation: Starting at $22.00 per hour
