Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Cherry Picker Operator in our logistics center located in Kannapolis. In this role, you will handle goods, scan products for inventory, and use a cherry picker to stock items on shelves. Prior forklift experience is necessary; however, training on the cherry picker will be provided. This position demands comfort with heights and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods during long working hours.

Shift:

• 2:30p - 2:30a

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

• OFF WED and weekends

Hard Skills

• 1-2 years of direct cherry picker experience (not mandatory)

• Forklift operation (stand up, or cherry picker)

• Ability to handle multiple tasks

• High School or GED

• Medical screening

Soft Skills

• Comfort with working at heights

• Physical endurance for long hours

• Reliability and flexibility in task management

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

Work Environment

Our warehouse and distribution center spans 200,000 square feet, maintained clean and climate-controlled. The team comprises approximately 75 members during the first shift and operates with a smaller crew on the second shift. Dress code is flexible, allowing most casual wear but requires close-toed shoes. Work hours include a first shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and a second shift with varied hours and days, including late nights.
