Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Supervisor in Kansas City, Kansas

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, your main function will be to establish, implement, and maintain long-range plans for the improvement of maintenance activities and provide technical assistance to the manufacturing departments supported. You will be responsible for the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives. Furthermore, you will diagnose equipment malfunction, determine root causes, initiate immediate and long-term corrections, and supervise construction and maintenance projects. You will also be in charge of managing the tradespeople for the department, ensuring that our equipment and conveyors are well-maintained through repairs, PM's and breakdown responses. Your responsibilities will also include timekeeping for the trades, vacation scheduling, and safety training for the trades, implementing planned maintenance activities, and completing work assignments within budget, manpower, and timing constraints.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kansas City, Kansas.

Work Environment

Normal work schedule requires arrival 15-30 mins prior to the start of a shift. The start of shift times are as follows: 1st shift at 6:30am, 2nd shift at 4:00pm, and 3rd shift at 11:00pm.
