MW Company, LLC Warehouse Associate in Kansas City, Missouri
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse, shipping and receiving operations, while ensuring that business needs are met in a timely manner.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Manage receiving and delivery of raw materials, subcontract materials, scrap and finished goods in a timely manner.
- Ensure handling of all loading, unloading and delivery to point of use is accurate and efficient.
- Utilize and support continuous improvement of functions and processes in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a high level of organization in the warehouse, shipping, receiving and scrap handling areas.
- Keep management informed of area activities, of any significant concerns; identify problems, and provide suggestions.
- Follow established and safety standards.
Position Qualifications: Minimum:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to walk constantly; stand for extended periods and repeatedly bend and move up to 50lbs on occasion.
- Must be able to walk constantly; stand for extended periods and repeatedly bend and move up to 30lbs on frequently.
- Must be able to physically reach in all directions and use upper body to push and/or pull up to 600lbs with use of pallet jack.
- Must be able to climb stairs, balance and kneel to pull orders from shelving of various heights.
- Must have fine visual acuity, with good depth perception and ability to see color to identify safety marked aisles and production zones.
- Constant use of Personal Protective Equipment is required.
- Must have a class E or equivalent Driver's License.
