Emerson Senior Asset Integrity Engineer in KARLSTAD, Sweden

Join our team as a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer and play a key role in performing field & in-house services, repairs, and Engineering in Projects to meet and exceed customers’ expectations and at the same time contributing to the company’s goals both financially and strategically.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

  • Vibration analyses done at in house or at customer site for providing solutions on rotating machinery

  • Configuring Machinery Health Monitoring Systems

  • Foster collaboration among diverse teams from different areas to achieve successful implementation of engineering projects

  • Provide technical expertise for products and services to support customers and Emerson teams

  • Contribute to growing a team of service engineers as required

  • Installation and startup of Machinery Health Monitoring Systems

  • Offer technical support to customers within the time requirements, conduct customer training

  • Responsible for delivering technical quality in implementation/testing and perform the engineering work According to Emerson’s standards and processes on project execution

  • Responsible to produce Test Specification documents, if applicable, and perform system start-up assistance at client's site

  • Provide information for billing of performed jobs in a timely manner, provide sales leads to sales department.

  • Where applicable, all repairs, installations, training etc. shall be done in accordance with each division guidelines.

For this role, you will need:

  • Preferred degree in engineering, control & process automation or equivalent

  • Preferred 3 years of experience within relevant process industry in application support engineering.

  • Vibration Monitoring and analysis experience

  • Process knowledge and site hands on experiences

  • Proficient English level (written and spoken)

  • Driver’s license for car

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

  • Category III vibration analysis certification is an advantage.

  • Computer literate

  • Willingness to travel within Sweden or in other Nordic countries if needed.

  • Proficient Swedish

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
