We are looking for a talented Store person to join our team in our Karratha branch. This role is a residential position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in the warehouse
Data entry and processing orders in a timely manner
Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimise warehouse space
Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Complete cycle-counts and routine stock takes
Undertake housekeeping duties to ensure work area is maintained and cleaned daily
Adhere to safe work practices in the workplace
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
High Risk Forklift Licence - preferred but not essential.
Driver’s Licence essential- Manual or willing to obtain.
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quickly
Previous warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicants
Previous experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial
Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficiently
