Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required

Work Experiences:

  • Five (5)+ years of Development & Construction experience required

  • Retail experience preferred

Skills:

  • Strategic thinker who can also understand tactical delivery of analysis as needed

  • Track record of delivering high-impact results year-over-year

  • Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills

  • Organizational skills

  • Ability to manage all financial aspects of design/construction

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with individuals at all levels

  • Ability to operate professionally, effectively and ethically as an individual contributor, member of a team, and leader of a team

  • Ability to influence and gain acceptance and approval of ideas, proposals, and solutions

  • Solid ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent leadership skills including ability to prioritize critical needs, and handle a high volume of complex tasks within a given timeframe

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision

  • Highly developed project management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manages new store construction projects

  • Travels to job sites regularly to check progress, overall workmanship, and verifies that project is on schedule

  • Oversees processing of all pay applications, change order requests for information related to the design and construction of projects

  • Reviews paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and supporting documentation

  • Returns inaccurate or incomplete pay applications and change order requests for revision/resubmittal

  • Manages communication between vendors, contractors, and Academy

  • Learns and enforces company policies and procedures

  • Learns and enforces company safety rules

  • Duties may change; Team Member may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

  • Regular attendance required

  • Ability to work flexible hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Travel is required

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties

  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
