The PSN Therapist provides intensive in-home support and treatment to at-risk families within the PSN program addressing mental health concerns, maintaining the placement of children, and strengthening the family unit. Prevention Services Network (PSN) is a community-wide collaboration dedicated to strengthening families. PSN is a voluntary program that connects Kenosha County families to beneficial resources and services at no charge to the families. The mission of the PSN Family Resource Center is to provide programs and services that build on family strengths through prevention, education, support, and networking in collaboration with other resources in the community. Experienced therapists, recent graduates, and/or unlicensed mental health professionals are all welcome to apply! Earn clinical hours toward licensure during work hours! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE PSN THERAPIST: Interview and evaluate families to complete the intake process. Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and complete formal assessments as needed. Formulate, implement, evaluate and review client treatment plans. Counsel clients in accordance with their treatment plans. Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations. Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health, parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, and group counseling. Conduct home visits as per program standards. Organize and facilitate structured group, individual and/or family activities. Work collaboratively with Prevention Services Network staff to provide services and meet client needs. Coordinate services and maintain communication with all service providers involved with the clients. Safely transport clients as needed. LOCATION: Kenosha County Job Center. Position may work on-site at the office and/or out in the community visiting clients within the home, with mileage reimbursement. REQUIREMENTS: Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver\'s license and automobile insurance. Must have a Master\'s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related. Licensure is not required.
