Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. This role will assume responsibility for managing invoicing, handling missed payments, and ensuring timely payment of accounts, contributing to our overall financial strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.

• Draft invoice reminders and make collection calls to clients with overdue accounts.

• Create and maintain client files, accounts, and billing details.

• Work closely with sales, customer service, and clients to resolve billing issues.

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.

• Prepare monthly, yearly, and ad hoc financial reports.

• Assist in financial audits and implement recommendations as required.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.

• Good understanding of general accounting principles.

• Proficient in MS Office and relevant accounting software.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
