The Millwright role installs, maintains and repairs stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The
position will utilize welding and operate metal-shaping machines. The Millwright will interpret drawings, follow
layouts, and assemble parts until they are in working orders.
Job Responsibilities:
? Installing, assembling and disassembling machinery using various hand and power tools.
? Rigging of pumps, motors and equipment using chain falls, come alongs, and other rigging equipment.
? Install threaded piping and tubing.
? Install, replace, and repair valves, fittings, filters, gauges, and associated parts of piping systems.
? Fabricate and assemble metal structures and fixtures using hand and power tools according to customer
or manufacturer specifications.
? Lay out and set equipment according to drawings or templates.
Job Requirements:
? Willingness to travel as required.
? Must possess valid identification to work in United States.
? Must have ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
? Knowledge on operating equipment such as pipe machine, burning torch, grinder, porta-band machine,
chain falls, and hands tools as well as mobile equipment such as fork truck, company trucks, high reach
equipment a carry-deck crane
? Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, safety
glasses, face masks, gloves, work boots, harnesses and any required PPE relevant to job site.
Physical Requirements:
? Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to greater than 50 pounds.
? Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas, see and
hear naturally or with correction.
? Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure.
? Requires repetitive movement.
? Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.
Education and Experience:
? High school diploma and/or GED
? 3 to 5 years of Millwright experience
