We are currently seeking a motivated Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance to join our team. This is an On-Site position that can be performed at either our King George, VA , or Wallops Island, VA , locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing technical, engineering, and analytical services for Test and Evaluation (T&E), including conducting technical evaluations of the capabilities and limitations of the Aegis Combat System, encompassing testing, analysis, shipboard testing, and software delivery.

• Evaluating system-level requirements and writing test cases, scenarios, and procedures to test operational capabilities as defined by system requirements and mission threads.

• Executing test procedures, analyzing data, and creating concise trouble reports to assist system developers and subject matter experts in understanding and recreating identified problems and assessing their impact on overall weapon system capabilities.

• Collaborating within a contractor/government-integrated test team to support the customer with additional backup data, research, and analysis to support test findings and recommendations for software certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in U.S. Navy surface warfare with a focus on advanced shipboard electronic warfare (EW) systems for surface warships (Navy Enlisted Rating of EW or CTT preferred)

• 3+ years of experience with Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) and Nulka decoys

• 3+ years of experience with AN/SLQ-32 shipboard systems

• Position requires about 20% travel to Moorestown, NJ, and Dahlgren, VA, to support meetings and test events, with flexibility for short notice travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with the AEGIS Combat System

• Understanding of shipboard operations and procedures

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of electronic warfare tactics

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.

• Occasional movement within the office for communication and accessing resources.
