DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As Right of Way Administrator 2, you will be responsible for assessing the status of right-of-way projects to ensure district letting goals are achieved. This will involve overseeing negotiations, title searches, appraisals, claims settlements, relocation advisory assistance, property management, scheduling, review, and other property acquisition functions. Additionally, you will provide guidance on complex acquisition or relocation issues and monitor project status and assignments, as well as evaluate the performance of consultants and staff. Furthermore, you will play a key role in the selection and contracting with right of way consultants, as well as coordinating, supporting, and providing analysis to department legal counsel. Assignments will be received in broad outline, and completed work will be reviewed by an administrative superior for results obtained and adherence to established policies and objectives.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. This position is eligible for Alternate Work Schedule (AWS). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Right- of-Way Administrator 1; or

One year as a Real Estate Appraiser Supervisor or as Real Estate Appraiser 3; or

Five years of progressively responsible technical experience in real estate work, including two years in a supervisory capacity; and a Bachelor's Degree; or

Six years of progressively responsible technical experience in real estate work, including two years in a supervisory capacity; and an associate degree, or satisfactory completion of two years of college; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
