Commander, Navy Installations UH FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR in Kings Bay, Georgia

Summary This position is located at Unaccompanied Housing aboard Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. The purpose of this position is to perform front desk supervisory duties for the Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Program. Responsibilities Ensures security of all residents is maintained at all times. Ensures privacy of all residents is maintained at all times. Must possess a welcoming manner and a positive attitude; demonstrate effective communication skills; professionally interact with residents, leadership of tenant commands and with Unaccompanied Housing (UH) staff; answer questions regarding housing facilities; provide information regarding on-base facilities for service members. Provide assistance handling customer complaints, involving management as necessary. Provide quality customer service for all internal and external customers, presenting neat, clean and professional appearance at all times. Serve as the eMH system administrator alternate with the same responsibilities as the system administrator when the administrator is not available Ensure front desk clerks and duty-watch standers provide courteous and expeditious UH assignments in a responsive and customer oriented manner. Manage, organize and train front desk clerks to carry out their duties and responsibilities in an appropriate and professional manner. Resolve administrative problems, routine operational issues, and complaints related to front desk operations. Provide recommended solutions and draft procedures for review and implementation to higher management. Maintain key control, including controlling the issuing of emergency and master keys and maintaining the supply of blank resident key cards. Provide oversight of all key inventories and accountability records related to key control. Manage Unaccompanied Housing (UH) wait lists and ensure the Unaccompanied Housing Assignment Review Board (UHARB) has copies of the latest UH wait lists. Manage the preparation and submission of daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual Unaccompanied Housing (UH) reports including: occupancy, unit or room availability, utilization, inventory, etc. Ensure the accuracy of the semi-annual inventory and utilization report. Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of front desk operations, correspondence and Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) data input and records. Ensure all inspection reports are entered into eMH. Ensure Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) reports are prepared, as required, for the daily management of UH (i.e. check-in, outstanding new resident orientation, vacant beds reports, etc.). Ensure unit or room assignments are made following guidance in Unaccompanied Housing Operations Manual (CNIC M-11103.2) and local policy. Per local guidance, approve resident-requested room changes and ensure front desk associates are properly documenting room transfers in Enterprise Military Housing (eMH). Coordinate with tenant and training commands for required room blocks for returning commands, air wings, incoming classes, etc. Other duties as assigned.
