We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Knoxville, Tennessee. As an Accounting Manager, you will be working in the service industry and will be responsible for managing and performing various accounting functions. You will be reporting to the Controller and will have the opportunity to manage a team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and performing journal entries.

• Overseeing month-end close procedures.

• Conducting account reconciliations.

• Preparing financial statements for multiple entities.

• Utilizing various accounting software systems for efficient operations.

• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks.

• Performing auditing when required.

• Utilizing Sage Intacct, Salesforce Platform, and Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks.

• Using VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions in Excel for data analysis.

• Conducting balance sheet account reconciliation and bank reconciliations.

• Performing variance analysis to identify and explain deviations in financial performance.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting management role.

• Proficient with Accounting Software Systems.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with auditing procedures.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct.

• Experience with Salesforce Platform is a plus.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Table.

• Proven experience with Journal Entries and Month End Close.

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements.

• Experience with Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, and Bank Account Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations.

• Familiarity with Variance Analysis.

• Possess strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
