Join Jacobs as a Senior Operations Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering landscape. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing our data-driven solutions, enhancing our cloud infrastructure, and streamlining operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide IT and DevOps support for engineering projects

• Monitor and optimize platform performance and security

• Manage cloud cost data and optimize resources

• Develop and extend tools and processes for security, backups, monitoring, and resource management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success

• Help expand our cloud operations for our upcoming European expansion

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of our tools and processes

Here’s what you’ll need :

Required Experience:

• Extensive experience with Cloud Operations, Linux, Ansible scripting, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS

• Proficiency in designing and managing cloud environments and cloud cost billing

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with GCP Big Query, Kubernetes, Python, Zabbix, and Terraform

• GCP certifications
