Why is this job for you:

The RTA Mill Rebate Analyst is responsible for all accounting related to the North America Mills customer rebates and broker commissions. The process includes the proper set-up of the rebate / commission, reconciliation of monthly accrual, calculation and routing of payments and addressing all ad-hoc requests from Sales managers and Pricing team.

You will:

  • Create, monitor and update rebate / commission agreements in SAP

  • Take ownership of rebate and commission accrual accounts and ensure balance is reconciled on a monthly basis

  • Meet with Pricing Team monthly to review rebate and commission accruals and payments

  • Calculate and post accrual adjustments as required monthly

  • Calculate rebate and commission payments monthly, quarterly and annually an route for management approval

  • Address ad-hoc requests and perform analysis as needed to support Sales Managers, Account Executives and Pricing Team

  • Seek, design and implement process improvements that will eliminate, streamline and/or automate the process for on-going efficiencies

  • Support team with other RTA Mill Division accounting and internal control responsibilities as time allows to provide further career growth opportunities

  • Leverage current role and responsibilities to help assess potential for model extension to other North America businesses and our EMEA Converting Business, collaborating with the local RTA Converting Teams in that respect.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline from an accredited college / university

  • 3-5 years of combined work experience across various disciplines including finance, accounting, business analysis, internal and/or external audit

  • Fluency In English

  • Ability to work later shift to engage with US team; 10 AM to 6 PM local time with occasional need to work 11AM to 7 PM

  • Proven experience in researching and defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions

  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookup, and macros

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Excellent teamwork skills and communication skills

  • Strong customer centric approach is critical
