Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Intern in Record to Report Team in our Finance Shared Services (FSS) in Kraków. The duties include support of RtR Controllers with master-data requests and ad hoc finance reports. A driven, energetic person with experience in Excel sheet functions and solid finance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support of Team Members in preparation of ad hoc finance reports

• Participate in activities related to finance process improvements compliance with Abbvie procedures

• Provide assistance with master-data requests

• Maintain good business relations with Master-Data Team

• Support in KPI calculations for selected indicators

• Assist with other day to day finance tasks as the need arises

Qualifications

• During Bachelor’s or first year Master’s Degree with an accounting and/or other finance major

• Professional proficiency of English is a requirement

• Practical computer skills, particular experience with Excel and SAP

• Analytical, problem solving approach

• Written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with stakeholders

Additional Information

Finance Shared Services (FSS) organization was established as one of the key elements of new operating model for AbbVie to provide accurate financial accounting and reporting for all affiliates and business units. The FSS center for EMEA region is based in Krakow, Poland and is serving as a chief accounting and controllership function for all affiliates and manufacturing plants in the region, providing support in US GAAP accounting, tax and statutory compliance and reporting and in selected FP&A and order to cash processes. The center was established in 2013.
