Looking for a Space Fence Radar: Maintenance Electrician opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? Discover this great opportunity in our Kwajalein, Atoll location.

This Space Fence Radar: Maintenance Electrician will be responsible to test, inspect, maintain and repair assigned facilities, equipment and systems in accordance with Operating Instructions (OIs), Preventive Maintenance Instructions (PMIs), manufacturer's instructions, specifications, drawings, and other applicable documents.

In this role, you will:

• Perform corrosion control and treatment functions as applicable to all assigned systems and equipment. Assure environmental pollution control and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) directives and procedures are followed. Perform or support the development and updates of maintenance documentation.

• Maintain logs, records and inspection forms, which reflect equipment status, inspections and maintenance repair activities.

• Support the operation and maintenance of mission equipment.

• Operate, inspect, test, maintain and repair RP and all real property installed equipment (RPIE) related to electrical, grounding and lightning protection.

• Maintain and update maintenance manuals and drawings for all assigned RPIE, Power Conditioning and Continuation Interface equipment (PCCIE) and ancillary equipment.

• Respond to emergency conditions within two hours and eliminate condition within 24 hours.

• Maintain, operate and make user-level repairs on UPS systems; coordinate preventive maintenance and system malfunctions with the UPS maintenance contractor.

• Inspect, test, maintain and repair installed lightning protection and facility grounding systems.

• Provide engineering services, technical support and design reviews.

• Assist with oversight and monitoring of facility upgrades.

• Perform contingency radar operator duties as required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• An active DoD Secret clearance

• A high school diploma/GED

• 5+ years' of relevant experience

• Ability to complete Lightning Protection/Grounding training: Per AFI 32-1065, DAC 4E-F37 645-F21 (AMMO-47)

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Completion of an accredited electrician trade school in air conditioning and refrigeration

• Course in control circuits and protective devices desirable.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $66,558 to $110,931; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
