JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and/or caregiving, with a strong commitment to upholding resident rights and ensuring the well-being of those they assist. Key Responsibilities: Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration and/or reminders. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients. Help with heavy lifting and mobility assistance as needed. Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Work with individuals with developmental disabilities in a caring and respectful manner. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and Qualifications: Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required. Strong communication skills and empathy towards those in need. Understanding of working with people with developmental disabilities. Previous experience in long-term care or caregiving is preferred but not required.
