Schedule Weekly Hours:28 Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our 24-bed Neuroscience Unit. View this \"Day in the Life\" video What you will do: 0.7 FTE 56 hours bi-weekly Work Monday-Thursday: 4 or 8 hour day shifts (6:30am -11am; 10:30am - 3pm; 6:30am - 3pm) and 4 or 8 hour PM shifts (2:30pm-7pm; 6:30pm - 11pm; 2:30pm-11pm) Weekend shifts are 8-hour day or PM shifts (6:30am - 3pm; 2:30pm-11pm) Every other weekend and three holidays a year Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our neurosurgery patients and those with other neurological disorders (i.e. spinal surgeries, deep brain stimulators, brain tumors/lesions, aneurysm treatment, lumbar drains, endovascular stroke treatment, seizures, post traumas, and more). Job Description: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing basic care of patients under the general supervision of an RN in the acute hospital setting. The CNA is also responsible for transporting and transferring patients within the medical complex in a safe and efficient manner.
