Hourly Wage $16.75

The Intern, Grants will assist the Grant Program Manager in the administrative tasks associated with grant management that align with Dairyland Power Cooperative's goals and objectives. Contribute and assist in research, identification, application, and management of grants.

The Impact You'll Make In This Role:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Assists in updating the grant project pipeline, researching potential grant opportunities, and delivering grant opportunity presentations.

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining grant documentation, including applications, awards, correspondence, and reports.

  • Support the preparation of grant applications by gathering necessary information and documentation.

  • Help in tracking grant applications and awards.

  • Support the Grant team in ensuring compliance with grant regulations and guidelines, including timely submission of reports.

  • Help in communicating with grant agencies and internal departments as necessary for administrative purposes.

  • Perform administrative functions as assigned by the Grant Program Manager, such as data entry, maintaining Grant Calendar, Grant SharePoint sites, and scheduling meetings.

  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education & Experience: Current student in an accredited two- or four-year degree program emphasizing Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Knowledge of the electric cooperative industry is a plus, but not required.

Skills: Strong research, communication and writing skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. SharePoint experience a plus.

Environmental Demands: Mostly works indoors.
