Responsibilities Assumes responsibility for attainment of financial goals as established by the Regional General Manager and approved by the Board of Directors Supports the corporate educational plan for facility staff and ensures follow-through Enforces corporate directed programs, including marketing, sales, purchasing, distribution, accounting/finance, safety, education and employee services Assumes primary responsibility for efficient, cost-effective facility operation Works closely on budget and sales forecasts with Regional General Manager Assists Corporate Credit staff with collection of customer accounts Approves wage, bonus and commission schedules in line with budget and operating constraints Work within budgetary and corporate guidelines on expenditures for capital equipment with Regional Operations Manager and Regional General Manager Manages the day-to-day activities of the facility, overseeing work accomplished by the managers and supervisors; ensures work is consistent with corporate policies and objectives Ensures inventory management consistent with sales, cash flow and financial goals Oversee sales, delivery, distribution, pricing, accounting and customer service Assumes responsibility for the physical plant and maintenance Reviews financial and operating reports; monitors all departments on a daily basis Serves as the principal public relations spokesperson for the facility Conducts regular staff meetings Interacts effectively with customers, maintaining and developing customer relationships Keeps abreast of industry trends; attends trade shows, conventions and seminars as appropriate or as directed Performs the duties inherent in all supervisory positions Promotes equal opportunity and affirmative...
