Schedule Weekly Hours:40 Gundersen Health System is looking for a fulltime Physical Therapist to join our Healthy Living Center team to primarily work with and treat our orthopedic patient population. The Healthy Living Center is a Gundersen Health System and La Crosse Area Family YMCA collaboration connecting healthcare, wellbeing, and community to achieve longer, healthier lives for all and support a stronger community. What You\'ll Do: The Healthy Living Center provides individuals and families with classes and programs staffed by Gundersen and Y professionals to foster healthy lifestyles as helps community members seamlessly transition from Gundersen medical care to Y-supervised programming. As an Outpatient Physical Therapist on our team, you will be responsible for developing plans of care and providing treatment techniques and interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function and movement through collaboration with referring providers and other clinical staff ensuring optimal patient care through appropriate and timely methods of communicationand treatment. The Healthy Living Center offers a unique environment for patients where Gundersen Physical Therapy can appropriately guide patients into a community-based exercise program at the YMCA while ensuring optimal outcomes. Our therapy team consists of 3 PTs, 1 PTA, Rehabilitation Technician support, and a therapy scheduler. What\'s Available: Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE) Monday - Friday, variable hours between 7am-4:30 pm - no weekends or holidays Minium starting salary of \$78,644 and up, based on your years of experience 45-minute appointment lengths, schedule allows for up to 47 patients/week, with 4.75 hours of office time for documentation during the week What You\'ll Need: Bachelor\'s degree, or higher, in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved curriculum in Physical Therapy State of Wisconsin Physical Therapist License Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross Physical Therapist board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) desired Prior experience with outpatient ortho patients or internship desired Must be credentialed with Gundersen prior to starting What You\'ll Get: A highly adaptable and mission-driven organizationwith a work environment that supports you personally and professionally and a work culture where you are valued and appreciated A care team with longevity and low turnover, shared office spaces for therapist collaboration, and the ability to work with complex patient cases both independently and as a team Competitive Compensation: Enjoy an attractive salary, based on your...
