Eaton Corporation EHS & Facilities Manager in La Grange, North Carolina
Eaton is currently seeking a EHS & Facilities Manager. This role is based at our La Grange, NC manufacturing facility and offers relocation assistance.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for leading the environmental health, safety, and security strategy as part of the Leadership Team for the La Grange plant, as well as executing responsibilities as manager of the maintenance and facilities team. Day to day activities include:
Establish EHS objectives and targets, ensure accurate and complete EHS metrics, and report EHS performance
Ensure compliance with national, area, and local regulatory requirements and maintain documentation; monitor changing internal/external regulations and standards
Maintain site ISO/OSHA certifications, and close findings in a timely manner
Oversee the MESH system within the organization, including training and developing the site’s MESH champions and employees to support a strong and engaged EHS culture
Manage site emergency & crisis response, contractors, and security
Manage the maintenance and facilities strategy for the site, including defining a strategy for sustainability and workspace optimization, leading a team of maintenance and facilities personnel, managing an operating budget for the facility, and supporting product line and testing initiatives for growth, innovation, and sustainment
Represent the EHS function at All Employee Meetings and act as a primary point of communication with the LaGrange community as it relates to on-site events
Drive alignment and execution of global safety expectations
Partner with other site leaders to support creation and enforcement of site policies and procedures, drive development and goal-setting, and facilitate community and internal engagement
Support goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Flex Productivity

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
Minimum three (3) years of Environmental, Health and Safety related experience within an industrial or corporate commercial environment
Minimum two (2) years of facilities/maintenance management experience within an industrial or corporate commercial environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in Business, Health, Science, or Engineering
Five (5) + years of experience directly managing EHS, Facilities, or similar teams in a large global operation
