As a Payroll Specialist, you will be an integral part of our HR and finance team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. Your role will involve managing all aspects of payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time.

• Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime as applicable.

• Ensure proper taxation of wages and compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Process new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information.

• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll-related issues.

• Generate payroll reports for management and accounting purposes.

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

• Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices.

• Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll-related projects and initiatives.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures, regulations, and compliance.

• Experience with payroll software

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
