Job Title: Delivery Driver

Job Description

Will perform deliveries of copiers, printers, and supplies to customers primarily in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, DC, Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and supplies at the distribution center and at customers' sites

• Operate a box truck or van in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Maintain all records required by DOT while operating the delivery vehicles

• Coordinate the maintenance for the delivery vehicles to maintain top condition

• Sort equipment and supplies at the distribution center

• Assist with the cleaning of the distribution center and with the disposal of pallets and other waste

• Assist the Logistics Supervisor with route planning and schedules

• Work with the Logistics Supervisor on cleaning and prepping equipment for delivery

• Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

• Driving

• Truck operation

• Unloading and loading

• Possess the skills and abilities to be licensed to operate trucks up to 12,000 lbs

• Ability to follow maps and/or GPS to unfamiliar locations

• Operate a drop lift gate to load or unload equipment without damage

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work alone with little direct supervision

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of working with DOT and OSHA are desired

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
