Aerotek Quality Technician in La Porte, Indiana

Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level Quality Technician. You will be trained on the 1st shift, which is your regular working hours. Your role includes verifying the pieces to ensure the dimensions are correct on the parts, as well as identifying visual defects. You will be required to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges. There are two job openings at two different locations, and the working hours are from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is between $16 and $18 per hour.

This is a fully on-site position in La Porte, Indiana.

Work Environment

The work environment is not climate-controlled but is well-maintained to remain cool. During hot days, the building can become hotter, and during winter, machines help warm it up. The building is spacious with 20-30 people working at any given time.
