Description

Robert Half is actively recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant/ Consultant for a CPA firm for a 4+ months engagement. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be preparing individual, corporate and partnership returns. This role will be fully remote, if you have the the experience needed and qualifications please apply.

Requirements:

• CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred

• Independent preparation of individual (1040, 1041), corporate (1120), partnership (1065) and trust tax returns

• Review documents from prior year to confirm consistency of entries

• Prepare summary sheet and code pages for easy review

• Reconcile any discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

• CCH tax software Wolters Kluwer

-Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.

• Good organizational, reporting, and leadership skills.

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail.

• Able to work independently in a remote environment.

-Previous experience as a Tax Associate.

-Knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and tax software.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sr. Tax Accountant for a minimum of 5 years+.

• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with Individual Tax Return, Corporate Tax Return, and Partnership Tax Returns.

• Proficiency in using IRS Form 1065, Form 1120, and IRS Form 1120S for tax purposes.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or EA ideally to have

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
