Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented business analyst to join our higher education team. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges. You'll be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data, providing detailed reports, and making recommendations to improve business operations, efficiency, and overall performance.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with key stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements and convert them into business requirements.

• Execute qualitative and quantitative analysis of academic operations and create reports that detail your findings.

• Monitor and assess business processes and systems to identify areas of inefficiency or improvement.

• Develop comprehensive end-user documentation and streamline operational process flows.

• Facilitate team meetings and provide updates on project progress, risks, and potential solutions.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives.

• Predict future trends and outcomes based on data analysis, making recommendations as needed.

• Actively engage in ongoing learning and improvement, staying aware of industry trends, competitors, and best practices.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst role; experience in higher education or educational setting preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to analyze data and produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive reports.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in software for data analysis and office productivity (eg: Excel, SQL).

• Demonstrated project management skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
