The Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) *within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a *Software/Application Architect (IT Architecture -- Senior/Specialist) *position. This position can be located *in any of the below locations:

 

*Headquarters Office in *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} 

*Northwest Region Office (NWRO) in *Shoreline, WA{rel="nofollow"}. *Central Region Office (CRO) in *Union Gap, WA{rel="nofollow"}. *Eastern Region Office (ERO) in *Spokane, WA{rel="nofollow"}. *Richland Field Office (RFO) in *Richland, WA{rel="nofollow"}.  

 

Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

Please Note: If the final location of this position is determined to be in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) in Shoreline, WA{target="_blank" rel="noopener"}. there will be an additional 5% pay increase due to its location in King County. In this instance the salary range will be $8,434 - $11,342 per month.  As the Software/Application Architect, you will plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining an application architecture blueprint for the organization. You will oversee the testing of the interoperability of application modules under development by in-house software development teams, commercial off-the-shelf software deployed in the organization, and with external third parties as necessary. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.
