Traffic Design Alternative Delivery Engineer (WMS3) Lacey, WA -- Olympic Region $8,384 -- $10,755 Monthly Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a co-manager for the Olympic Region (OR) Traffic Design program in support of the Region's project development and construction program. The OR Traffic and Transportation Operations Office leads, directs, and manages the Region's traffic program, including four major functional groups: Traffic Operations, Freeway Operations, Traffic Design, and Signal and Electrical Operations and Maintenance. The Traffic Design Alternative Delivery Engineer provides leadership, direction, support, management, and engineering oversight for the Region's project development and construction activities for the Progressive Design Build (PDB) and Design Build (DB) projects as they relate to Traffic. This position represents WSDOT in discussions and negotiations with local residents, State Representatives, Federal agencies, Resource agencies and PDB contractors concerning coordination of projects throughout the design and construction process, specifically with the Design-Build and progressive design build delivery method.
