We are looking for a Housekeeper to provide a clean, safe and cheerful environment for senior residents, transitional care unit patient, staff and visitors at Lake City Care Center in Lake City , MN

Housekeeping/Cleaning position includes:

• 16 hours every two weeks

• Day shift

• Every third weekend

Lake City Care Center is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer. At any given time, as many as 90 people call our Long Term and Transitional Care Center their home in beautiful Lake City in southeast MN . Since we opened in 1978, we’ve served thousands. Our care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.

• Performs all cleaning duties with attention to quality and detail

• Assists with light maintenance tasks and cleaning emergency spills as needed

• Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies

• Performs job duties safely, using accurate body mechanics and protective equipment

• Promotes a safe environment for tenants, staff and visitors

Required:

• Ability to work independently, show attention to detail, multi-task and maintain confidentiality

• Able to work in varying environmental conditions

• Able to understand and follow verbal and written communication including policies/procedures and safety sheets.

Preferred:

• Work experience in cleaning or similar environment
