Job Title: Accounting Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will compile, classify, record, verify, and maintain data and payments to accounts payable and/or receivable records. Your daily responsibilities will include preparing and processing daily cash and credit card deposits, reviewing and posting receipts and payments to appropriate ledgers, spreadsheets, records, and databases. You will also prepare, sort, copy, file, and mail invoices, receipts, checks, correspondence, and other requested items. Additionally, you will be responsible for auditing invoices against purchase orders, researching discrepancies, calculating required tax withholdings, preparing accounts payable checks, and handling various other financial tasks. This role will require you to research and process charge backs, returns, refunds, freight charges, cost of lost or damaged goods, bad checks, and similar items. You will also be required to answer accounts payable and receivable inquiries, audit freight bills against freight manifests, and analyze vendor accounts. You will also assist in monthly and annual closings.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lake Mary, Florida and some days remote.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role offering flexibility with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. One of the in-office days must be Thursday, while the other two can be scheduled as per your preference. You will be assigned a cubicle in our office.
