Apply Job Type Full-time Description Position Summary: Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the Information Security Analyst I plays a key role in managing and reporting on information security threats and activities across the organization. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyzes and uses discretion to respond to information security alerts and emails. Carefully evaluates options and takes action as needed to resolve security threats. Identifies and escalates significant threats appropriately. Researches and provides analysis on current information security threats, trends and best practices. Makes recommendations to management on methods for mitigating threats, options for addressing security vulnerabilities and enhancements to security policies/procedures. Maintains detailed and accurate documentation and sound controls to ensure that systems remain in compliance with security standards. Responsible for creating Weekly Information Security Report and distributing it to affiliate CEOs and other security personnel. Responds to report inquiries and follows-up with open items as needed. Researches and prepare the presentation for the Monthly Information Security meeting. Leads the meeting and discussion with affiliate CEOs and other security personnel. Manages the email security system. Identifies threats and make appropriate system changes to address new threats. Provides guidance to employees and stakeholders on information security concerns that are raised to the team. Gathers information for and assists in the preparation of periodic threat reports. Assist with business continuity planning and activities. Makes recommendations related to policies and procedures for disaster recovery, critical incidents and day-to-day system maintenance. Participate in Information Security meetings and projects. Adds insights, engages in discussion and willingly takes on assignments and initiatives. Complies with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including, but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and related anti-money laundering statutes, and federal consumer protection legislation and regulations. Requirements Qualifications and Skills: 1 to 3 years of experience in computer technology and information systems is required. Experience in networking configuration is preferred. One of the following job-related certifications is preferred: CompTIA Security + EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. High School Diploma OR equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred. Necessary competencies: Resilience Collaboration Communication Service Orientation Quality Focused Process Oriented Accountability Physical Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands, and see, hear and speak. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. This position is performed in an office setting, five days a week with typical work hours being 8.30a through 5.15p.
