Eurofins Facilities Specialist in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, and cleanup work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.

  • Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork.

  • Follow all safety regulations and policies as mandated by the company.

  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), suggest revisions as needed.

  • Prepare and document work plans, job hazard analysis, job safety analysis, code required forms, checklists, LOTO, and internal procedural documents as required.

  • Inspect circuit breakers and other electrical components.

  • Advise immediate direct report of job progress and material/labor requirements and communicate tasks performed.

  • Perform routine PM’s on equipment.

  • Assist with repairs to current equipment and new equipment installs.

  • Complete all work in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

  • Comfortable regularly using computers.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills is a plus.

  • Must have previous Facilities experience.

  • Must be comfortable with power tools.

Position is full-time, Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm and will be required to be on a rotating maintenance on-call schedule. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
