The Senior Systems Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

  • Lead technical studies on servers, storage, and network infrastructure to support the program's system architecture decisions for sustaining worldwide enterprise operations.

  • Oversee and manage a high-priority, multi-year, on-site technical task focused on consolidating enterprise server sites.

  • Analyze users' requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.

  • Lead design and development activities by analyzing system requirements and advising alternative approaches, conducting feasibility studies, and providing technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology.

  • Guide users in requirement formulation and provide expertise in system development and implementation planning.

  • Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation, to ensure clear understanding and continuity of system development efforts.

  • Interact with Government stakeholders to address Systems Engineering technical considerations, resolve problems, and manage conflicts.

  • Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

  • Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives to provide updates, report progress, and address any concerns or issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in support of large-scale enterprise operations.

  • Proficiency in analyzing user requirements, developing system specifications, and guiding system development and implementation.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience working with Government agencies or large organizations preferred.

  • Travel: Some travel may be required based on project needs.
