Director, Financial Aid Product Sales College Board -- BigFuture Remote About Financial Aid Programs and Services Financial Aid Programs and Services (approximately 31 people) is a unit within the BigFuture division. The BigFuture team is committed to supporting all students to make the right first step post high school. BigFuture reaches over 7M students each year and is the leading free resource for College, Scholarship, and Career Exploration. BigFuture allows students to demystify the college going process, unlock options to afford college, and explore careers that connect to their skills and interests. Financial Aid Programs and Services manages and delivers a suite of financial aid products (PowerFAIDS, CSS Profile, Institutional Methodology, Net Price Calculator, IDOC, and Institutional Need Analysis System) that support students in the financial aid application process and institutions in the administration of financial aid. Built by financial aid professionals for financial aid professionals, our integrated tools help institutions develop equitable, effective, and efficient financial aid programs. The Sales and Engagement team will be a mighty team of 7 when this position is filled. Our team is a mix of professionals with deep financial aid knowledge, strong analytical skills, strong project management, and strong relationships within the financial aid industry. The team is highly collaborative while also creating structures that emphasize each member being empowered to own their priorities. About the Opportunity The Director of Financial Aid Solutions is responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy to sell financial aid products with a primary focus on PowerFAIDS Cloud and Net Price Calculator. PowerFAIDS Cloud is the next generation of PowerFAIDS, a new cloud-based financial aid management system that succeeds its successor, the desktop edition of PowerFAIDS. The recent launch of PowerFAIDS Cloud introduces opportunities to advance financial aid sales and migration objectives. Your ability to develop and nurture relationships with the higher ed community to drive adoption of PowerFAIDS Cloud with current users and new markets is critical to the success of our division goals. You bring experience in higher education recruitment, financial aid, or higher education software sales and can leverage that experience to help institutions realize their goals. In this role, you will: Account Management (80%) * Build and drive effective relationships with institutional decision-makers including enrollment, financial aid, and technology stakeholders at targeted institutions * Develop and nurture relationships with current and potential product allies and product resellers * Manage and execute sales processes from lead generation to close of sale * Outreach execution, including performing product demonstrations that highlight features and functionality * In partnership with Financial Aid team colleagues, design and develop collaborative sales and outreach campaigns * Partnering with key internal stakeholders to develop, design, and execute strategies to generate PowerFAIDS Cloud new sales leads and to drive adoption of PowerFAIDS Cloud with current customers. Market Intelligence and Customer Relations Management Systems (20%) * Serve as the market expert on competing products and maintain working knowledge of College Board financial aid products to leverage in campaign work * Maintain Salesforce market intel resulting from client engagement * Initiate, log, and execute SalesForce opportunities and consultation campaigns * Facilitate and support contract related inquiries and product upgrade requests from the field * Network with internal field staff outside of Financial Aid Programs & Services to explore product placement opportunities About You You have: * Knowledge of the enrollment issues faced by higher ed institutions today with a strong working knowledge of the College Board Programs that will meet the n
