Tatum by Randstad is recruiting for a Job Cost Accounting Manager who will oversee the Project Cost Accounting function for various development projects and collaborate with Project Managers throughout the entire project until completion. This individual will manage all construction cost and reporting functions for various projects, oversee all WIP (Work in Progress) functions, administering contracts/agreements, working closely with Project Management on budgets and cash flow projections.

The salary range for this position is $100-119k based on previous experience and is an immediate need.

responsibilities:

• Reconcile and balance accounts, develop cash flow and cost-to-complete reports

• Contract administration, manage all contracts to ensure compliance

• Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting

• Manage the process for proper coding of construction invoices (payment applications) and lien releases for contractor and vendor invoices

• Analyze and review construction status with Project/Construction Managers

• Produce all-in development / construction budgets for all projects including soft costs, hard costs, and financing expenses

• Supervision of team: Senior Accountant and Accounts Payable

• Prepare Special Improvement District ('SID") reimbursement packages, forecasts, and budgets

• Work closely with project management on any cost/budget related matters

• Other duties as needed

qualifications:

• 5+ years of construction job cost accounting experience required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required

• Great communication skills with proven experience working with local municipalities, project management, senior leadership, external auditors, etc.

• Extensive knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups) required

• Experience with JD Edwards and Coupa preferred
