Job Description

The LMS Administrator reports to the Corporate HR Director and is responsible for the technical and functional administration of daily operation, maintenance, usage and analysis of the Learning Management System (LMS) including, the logistics and coordination of the overall e-training program for the workforce across the company. In addition, the LMS Administrator will have a strong understanding of e-learning creation and delivery gained through at least 3-5 years of experience managing an LMS. Duties and Responsibilities* Serves as the corporate point of contact for the LMS across the company and liaison with contract training coordinators.* Is solely responsible for maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting all in-house LMS issues.* Serves as the point of contact for the company with the LMS vendor.* Supports the TRAX training program by administering required courses, keeping records up to date, providing reports and optimizing the Learning Management System (LMS). * Helps to develop training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.* Responsible for providing new hire employee training including updates as required. * Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals and guides, for both employee users and training coordinators for the LMS system.* Conducts organization-wide LMS needs and identifies gaps that should be addressed.* Supports and advises the company management on employees’ training needs and compliance.* Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.* Responsible for performing audits, reviewing documentation, and observing activities. * Assists in forging collaboration between all stakeholders through relationship building and providing excellent support to their training needs. * Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.* Prior LMS administration experience with an off the shelf LMS (such as Cornerstone). * Extensive knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.* Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).* Experience in creating computer- based training with Articulate 360, a plus.* Experience in implementing/transitioning to a new LMS. * Experience in LMS utilization analysis and data “cleanup”.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Proven ability to work independently on multiple projects concurrently with time sensitive deadlines.* Ability to enter information into systems and prepare correspondence and documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.* Excellent organizational, planning, and priority setting skills.* Ability to interact in a helpful, courteous, and professional manner.* Must share a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution.* Exceptional proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat.Desired Qualifications* HR certification(s) preferred (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, CEBS, ATD).Physical Demands and Working Conditions* The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment.* Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.* Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted.* Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities.Terms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements * Must be a U.S. Citizen.* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.* Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.* Must be able to successfully complete a background check.* Must be able to support occasional travel (20% or less) to include overnight travel and assisting with transitioning new contracts as required.The lists above are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel in this position.
