Mailroom Runner The Strat (Las Vegas, NV)
Description:
Summary: To ensure that all parcels are mailed, shipped, received and delivered to the guests and appropriate departments. Operates and maintains a wide variety of computerized equipment and assists in print production output.
Essential Functions:
Acts as a courier, delivering mail, print material and other parcels to the appropriate person/department in a timely manner without damaging the parcel
Sorts mail as it is received in the mailroom
Processes mail through the postage meter machine and UPS online
Delivers mail to all ACEP properties
Ensures signatures of receipt are received upon the delivery of parcels, if required
Utilizes computer and print/job production equipment
Operates binding, cutting, folding, laminating, book making and other auxiliary equipment
Daily cleaning of the mailroom and Business Center to ensure facilities remain clean and safe
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications/Requirements:
Previous experience in same or similar position preferred
Clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age
Strong organization skills
Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
Ability to effectively operate a computer, including MS Office, Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Required Work Cards
- State of Nevada Driver License
Physical Requirements
Walk and work indoors more than 75% of the time
Lift, push, pull, carry, bend, kneel, continuously stand, and drive about 50% of the time
Work outdoors less than 25% of the time
Must have normal sense of sound, touch, hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity and vision range.
Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
Need to distinguish between shades of color.
