Robert Half Treasury Analyst in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description We are on the hunt for a skilled Treasury Analyst to be a part of our team, operating within the commercial real estate investment management sector. This role will be based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is a crucial part of our company's operations. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for managing our company's cash flows, maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash positions to maintain optimal liquidity according to company guidelines.

• Conduct complex treasury analyses including cash forecasts and liquidity models.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Tax, and other Business Units, to ensure accurate and timely cash flow information.

• Execute money market transactions for short term investment or debt requirements.

• Maintain banking relationships and correspondence with external service suppliers.

• Negotiate bank and service fees. Implement new bank technologies, products, and services to improve cash management efficiency and accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Develop and monitor treasury operational policies.

• Implement and control the company’s risk management strategy in relation to foreign exchange and interest rate exposure.

• Support in areas of cash management related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, Management System, Microsoft Excel in performing accounting functions, banking operations, cash activity, check processing, and credit. Requirements • Proven experience as a Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer for a minimum of 3 years

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) is a must

• Hands-on experience with IBM AS/400

• Proficient in using Management System and Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrable knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Banking Operation is essential

• Ability to manage Cash Activity and Check Processing

• Solid understanding of Credit management

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
