POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, your mission will be to ensure the execution of the analysis activities of the purchasing department as well as the purchasing activities of packaging components in connection with the validation of customer needs, calls for tenders. offer, negotiations, contract, order and monitoring and also to ensure monitoring and evaluation of suppliers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

MANAGEMENT OF INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS

Ensures that analyzes are completed in line with the needs of the company.

Ensures an exhaustive analysis of the needs of its internal client

Guarantees equal information from all suppliers (specifications, answers to questions).

Establishes and/or validates the supplier choice table (comparison, choice argument)

Participates in decision-making through its recommendations.

Encrypts or validates the final purchase request

Develops knowledge of group and extra-group purchasing practices (press) to be able to advise applicants

NEGOTIATION / MANAGEMENT OF CALLS FOR TENDER

Analyzes information (internally) about suppliers and completes an assessment of them

Periodically checks the financial health of key suppliers

Ensures monitoring of supplier markets, techniques and strategies

Proposes new potential suppliers (sourcing and audits)

Launches the call for tenders

Prepares and signs orders

Ensures meetings with suppliers in a partnership logic

Identifies negotiation levers and develops strategies.

Analyzes the offers and defines with the applicant the choice of supplier

Manages negotiations and offer conditions with suppliers

MANAGEMENT OF CONTRACTUAL COMMITMENTS / DISPUTES

Ensures the monitoring of supplier commitments (deadlines, quality, price)

Sends contractual documents to suppliers and follows up on acknowledgments of receipt

Validates invoices with discrepancies and releases deposits on order

Disseminate contracts and agreements internally (accounting, applicants)

Guarantees the follow-up of orders and compliance with deadlines by the supplier

Ensures the renewal or call for tenders of contracts before expiry

Renegotiates contractual commitments in the event of modifications or disputes

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Business Administration/Finance. The A.P.A. title of PMAC is an asset.

Excellent knowledge of French and English, both oral and written.

Superior interpersonal skills, the position requiring a lot of interaction internally with different hierarchical levels and also externally. Very good team spirit. Strategic and autonomous person. Strong negotiation skills. Experience in project management, an asset. Attention to detail in the preparation of contracts and communication with the Legal department for review of contracts. Ability to work in a constantly moving environment with minimal supervision.

Work schedule and location in line with company policies.

Knowledge of MRP/ERP concepts and systems (SAP Purchasing and Material Master modules).

Very good knowledge of MS Office systems, including advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
