About the role

Responsible for planning customer orders within the requested time while maintaining an inventory level meeting the requirements. Immediate senior, Sourcing Manager.

Key responsibilities

Daily

  • Analyze and schedule orders that are entered into the system, return to customer within 24 hours

  • Meet customer and product requirements when planning

  • Plan required semi-finished products based on economic demand or quantity to be produced

  • Ensure that the inventory level meets requirements

  • Follow up with buyer for missing raw materials

  • Respect production, equipment, rabbinic, shipping availability...

  • Optimize the atomization schedule to avoid wasted time

    Monthly

  • Pull out the Products to be Kept in Stock (FSA) report, schedule their manufacture as required

  • Analyze ASF in stock and advise customer service of any products with less than 25% remaining life

    As required

  • Review inventory minimums for stock-in-stock semi-finished products

  • Ensure all previous years FSA have been renewed, if not, remove these products from inventory

  • Finding alternative solutions when raw material is lacking

  • Keep production schedule up to date when new activations or changes

  • Find cost reduction strategies

  • SAP experience is an asset
