Weyerhaeuser’s Snow Peak Timberlands operation, based out of Lebanon, OR has an opening for a Loader Operator. We are seeking individuals who desire to work in a market-focused logging environment. This is a full-time, hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Vacation, and Holidays. Rate of pay is $35.785 per hour.

Key Functions:

• Safely and competently operate the loader while adhering to safety, environmental, production and quality standards
• Expected to make daily adjustments to maximize logging system output as dictated by business needs (weather, labor, truck availability, etc.)
• Fulfill loader responsibilities and record keeping including the ability to load logs to the required standards, quickly and effectively react to sorting changes, and fully utilize trucks through dispatch to maximize the number of loads per truck per day
• Operate and become efficient with Loader Wiz, TLI apps and other systems/technology as required
• Perform and assist on equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as they develop

• Competent, qualified, and able to work independently, as well as a team

• Demonstrated commitment and ability to work safely in both an individual and team environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Two years of experience operating a loader
• Ability to fulfill all loading responsibilities
• Must have excellent listening and communication skills; ability to demonstrate open, honest, and regular exchange of information, and treat all employees with respect and dignity
