Permobil, Inc. Associate Sales Representative - Southern California in Lebanon, Tennessee

Key Duties:

  • Support Regional VP, Area and Territory sales managers with daily sales activities.
  • Initiate contact with assigned customers to encourage better working relationships and positively influence sales.
  • Conduct product in-services sessions, product repairs, as required.
  • Serve as liaison between Territory Sales Managers and Customer Support; assist in resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Monitor sales trends and evaluate sales performance for customer/dealer, area or region; study existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by seeking to improve product offerings of Permobil and its subsidiaries.
  • May be assigned cross-functional tasks in order to broaden business acumen knowledge.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; college level education completion is preferred.
  • Will be expected to complete ATP on-line preparatory course and meet requirements to sit for ATP exam.
  • 3 or more years of experience working directly with internal order processing, procurement, logistics, product assembly, sales support or customer service.

Required Knowledge/Skill:

  • Strong understanding of Permobil systems, quote/order/shipping processes and product order forms.
  • Possess general knowledge of the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) industry, our dealers, clinicians and end-users.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to speak in front of groups using effective communication and presentation skills; possess excellent written skills.
  • Considered to be a contributing team member demonstrating excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to independently organize, coordinate, and complete projects.
  • Demonstrated analytical and technical skills preferred; ability to troubleshoot complicated electrical, hardware and software issues
  • Proficient computer skills (MS business applications, iPhone, iPad, etc.)
  • Receptive to personal development; eager to learn
  • Willing to travel extensively.
  • Open to relocation at the end of training
