Permobil, Inc. Associate Sales Representative - Southern California in Lebanon, Tennessee
Key Duties:
- Support Regional VP, Area and Territory sales managers with daily sales activities.
- Initiate contact with assigned customers to encourage better working relationships and positively influence sales.
- Conduct product in-services sessions, product repairs, as required.
- Serve as liaison between Territory Sales Managers and Customer Support; assist in resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Monitor sales trends and evaluate sales performance for customer/dealer, area or region; study existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by seeking to improve product offerings of Permobil and its subsidiaries.
- May be assigned cross-functional tasks in order to broaden business acumen knowledge.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; college level education completion is preferred.
- Will be expected to complete ATP on-line preparatory course and meet requirements to sit for ATP exam.
- 3 or more years of experience working directly with internal order processing, procurement, logistics, product assembly, sales support or customer service.
Required Knowledge/Skill:
- Strong understanding of Permobil systems, quote/order/shipping processes and product order forms.
- Possess general knowledge of the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) industry, our dealers, clinicians and end-users.
- Must demonstrate the ability to speak in front of groups using effective communication and presentation skills; possess excellent written skills.
- Considered to be a contributing team member demonstrating excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to independently organize, coordinate, and complete projects.
- Demonstrated analytical and technical skills preferred; ability to troubleshoot complicated electrical, hardware and software issues
- Proficient computer skills (MS business applications, iPhone, iPad, etc.)
- Receptive to personal development; eager to learn
- Willing to travel extensively.
- Open to relocation at the end of training
