Hiring Journeyman Millwright

Minimum 1 Month Project - Potential for Long Term Work Thereafter

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Monday to Friday - OT after 40 hours in a week, OT opportunity is available

Description:

The candidate will be working as a journeymen millwright assembling, disassembling, and repairing gear boxes, bearings, large crusher rolls and conveyor systems. Most of the gearboxes come with horsepower ratings of around 250-2000 horsepower. These parts are extremely dirty with grease, the candidate will have to be comfortable with dirty work. Crane operation will be needed on an as necessary basis to move around gearboxes ranging from the small, to 20 tonnes in weight.

Additionally the candidate is going to be working on the machining side using a manual lathe and mill.

Will be responsible for setting the machines up and running them. An expert on staff will be able to help out.

Additionally, the candidate may be asked to help with odd jobs and cleaning tasks around the facility.

The Successful Candidate Must Have:

• Journeyman Millwright

• Experience on gearboxes 3+ years specific experience on Gear Boxes

• Willing to get very dirty (remove grease from inner lining of Feed Pans)

• Basic manual machining knowledge (1 year+)

• Basic millwrighting tool knowledge

• Overhead Crane

• Flexibility in work hours
