Data Analytics, Instructor PT
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Pay / Hourly: $ 31-34/hour
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Programs and the designated Program Lead, the Instructor is responsible for teaching, evaluating, and reporting student progress toward course objectives and for the periodically reviewing and updating of didactic course materials and lab competencies. The instructor maintains professional certifications in their field of study, and models professional behavior in the classroom and the lab in all courses taught, attends all meetings as needed, and performs all other duties as assigned.

MTECH tuition waiver is available after three months, to employees who work a minimum of 15 hours a week.
DATA ANALYTICS, INSTRUCTOR PT - RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing effective instruction and facilitating student learning for the program.
Reviewing and implementing lesson plans.
Engaging students for the entirety of the scheduled class.
Giving clear instructions and helping students understand the lesson.
Maintaining discipline and control of the classroom.
Recording student attendance.
Mentoring students, providing regular feedback on progress, with the central goal of the program being student success. This includes completion of the program, successfully passing any required licensure or certification tests, and placement in related employment.
Fostering a safe and nurturing learning atmosphere.
DATA ANALYTICS, INSTRUCTOR PT - QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Current industry credentials and licensing.
Minimum two years of experience working.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
Must be knowledgeable in course content, as evidenced by education and experience, effective in directing and evaluation student learning in didactic and laboratory performance.
